  15. In various versions of mskermit/and on different computers when using
  16. the kermit prompt to dial a number, I sometimes get the message 
  17. "cannot find dialing dir" (may not be exact message). After using the "cd"
  18. command without arguments on the kermit command line - the dialing directory
  19. _is_ found. Also I think the kermit command "cd ." (not a very sensible
  20. command) accomplishes the same thing. I have never noticed a pattern, that
  21. is something I have done previously that ensures that this error will 
  22. occur or not occur. I always run kermit from the dir c:\kermit that
  23. contains the bin, dialups.txt, init files and the sub dirs: modems,
  24. pcfonts etc. (the dir you would have if you unzip the full 3.14). Although
  25. I am using 3.15 now.
